I haven’t been painting as much as I would have liked because Ramadan has rightfully slowed me down. I painted these pieces over the course of a few weeks prior and finally had the energy to photograph and list them in my Etsy shop.
I’d like to attribute this burst of energy to our recent change of diet and adoption of the Paleo lifestyle. By cutting out grains and wheat, and lots of processed sugar, I have to say, I feel a lot lighter on my feet, clear-headed, and more energetic. Will be posting some of my favorite recipes soon!
And Eid is just a few days away! Can’t wait for my presents ❤
I wanted to ring in the month of Ramadan with some new colorful paintings in my collection. I am offering these pieces and many more for sale in my shop at 15% off. I also have my limited edition prints on sale as well so it’s a great deal! Coupon code: SUMMER is valid until July 15th.
Meanwhile, I’ve been honing in on my abstract work to make way for lots of big things this fall. Really excited for the present and the future!
It’s that time of the year again! Ramadan is upon us and observant Muslims are fasting all over the world. I spent the last few days painting as much as I can, in time for my summer sale. I decided to paint some more representational art as I close out the month.
I’ve been interested in exploring palm trees and beach umbrellas, but just briefly. My real passion right now continues to be abstract art, and I have to make time for myself to create it without being distracted with my cute camels and such!
Below is one of the last paintings I completed and features a vibrant abstract sky with a desert theme. Of course, inspired by my time in Abu Dhabi, UAE. I will be posting more of my art to come!
P.S. I’ve been contemplating doing a 100 abstract paintings in 100 days challenge. I just have so much I want to experiment with, new materials, new color schemes, and new techniques. Wonder how it would go!
